So Thankful
I am so excited that we have our lap top now. It was a great choice for us! I was always checking the paper for laptop deals, so I could find what we needed. I ended up building my own and I love it! One of my favorite things now is that it has blue tooth! So I am able to get online anywhere my phone has service! And it's HIGH SPEED too! I am using it now to blog! I am waiting until middle of August to get Internet hook up at the house- so I enjoy using this for now. I also love that we have a back lit keyboard. I think it was an extra $25 for it, but It was worth it! Helps to see the keys when you are typing. Of course having a built in web cam rocks too- very nice to skype with the family, ha! I just wrote this and got a phone call on skype! Gotta run!

In Love...
I am in love with my camera, and I'm so glad that I bought it when I did! It was for my birthday last year. I've had it almost a year and I still need to learn how to take better Photos with it. Tonight we took photos on the Beach and I was just amazed at how much you can do with it. I am such a photo junkie though, anything that has to do with photography I want to know about it! I love that my camera does HD Video too! The camera reviews I did paid off! I waited it out and found the perfect one for me! I know that once I really learn all the features to it I will enjoy it even more. Of course I will then want a bigger better one and I'll know just where to shop!!! What kind of camera do you have? Do you love it:? Hate it? Want a new one? What do you like about it?

Beach Cleanup
I'm new to the Waveland Area, so I'm not sure if atv's are allowed on the beach or not. I know that they are out there now, because of the oil clean up and I've seen tracks for them too. But again- it could just be from the oil spill. I'm hoping that the efforts to stop the oil are not in vain and that soon we will all enjoy the beach like we did years ago when we lived here. We did walk the beach the other night and the kids enjoyed it. I only live a mile from the beach, and my yard has sand in it, so my floor stay sandy! Now I know why they put down tile all over the floor. I'll have to keep a cleaning routine in tact so I can keep the dirt levels DOWN! I want to have a clean home, but I want it lived in too! No need in it being spotless! We do have kids! It has been years since I rode on ATV, but I loved it then and I'm sure I'd love it now! In fact when we first got our playstation 2 that was my favorite game on there! I enjoyed playing the game as if it were ME riding! Lord knows I was never able to do all those tricks and jumps like they do on the game, but it was fun to pretend!
Weight Loss
What weight loss supplement would you recommend? I'm always looking for a way to slim down, so I wondered what you have used that worked? Almost all my friends have struggled with weight at some point. Some of them it was not until they had children, but most of them it was long before! I've been looking for a quick fix since I was in the fifth grade, but I know that there are NO quick fixes! Only hard work and motivation to change will ever create the change I'm looking for! How can you want something so bad, yet not be willing to work for it the way you know you should?
I really hope that as I get settled in to our new home and new life that I will be able to live a healthier lifestyle! Time will tell...

The Doctor
Have you ever talked to your doctor about weight loss? Have they ever said that diet pills really work? I've never had a doctor tell me that I could take them, but never asked about it either. I do remember them saying there are two kinds of pills. One for people who can't say no to the bad foods and another who can't stop eating when they are full. I guess I'm the second one now. I think it'd be easier to find diet pills that work now that I'm an adult and can understand my eating habits better. I've never tried diet pills, but I've tried diet after diet and exercises routine after routine. I never have permanent results. I know I need a LIFE change, not just a food change.
Distracted
Every time I get online I get distracted. I try to accomplish one important thing and instead of taking care of it I end up all over the place. And I am not one to click on ads here and there, I just know that I start one thing and forget why I started! I suppose they have some kind of vitamin to help you focus, just like they have the diet pills that help you lose weight. I know that you can search reviews like the apidexin reviews and equipment reviews for exercises, but do they have any for vitamins? I'm sure they do. Someone once told me that Coffee has the same effect as some of the drugs used for ADD. Of course its not as effective but it helps. I am not a coffee drinker. Never have been. I'm sure I will enjoy it one day, some times I want some to help me stay awake, but I don't drink it on a day to day basis. What do you do to stay focused? Or does it come natural to you?

Hair Growth
If you are interested in hair growth, click here!!!! I know that I don't need it now, but if I did, I would be online searching for it! I don't know that you could tell a friend about it, I'm thinking that if it were me, I'd hope someone would at least give me the info so I could look it up! The other day a friend of mine was told by a stranger that she had a hair lip and should wax it. I would be so embarrassed! Now if a friend did it, I think it would be different! Maybe! HA! Would you rather hear something from a friend or stranger?
New Office
Chris will have a new office now! I will miss having my own church office. I stored a lot of my personal books in my office. I am glad that I will be home with the kids though- I don't suppose I'll need that big of an office! Chris will have to look online at some office furniture accessories or maybe I will do that since I enjoy shopping more than him! I hope he has a computer at the church- not even sure what it looks like! I've been there- but not upstairs where the office is. I love school supplies and office supplies. I went to the local superstore here yesterday and got excited to see them setting up all the new school supplies!
Oxygen
I remember my paw paw Livengood needing Oxygen. I've seen some amazingly small oxygen concentrators since those days. I've seen respironics oxygen concentrators that are helpful for those in need. I am thankful that I don't have to depend on a machine to help me breath. I hope that I never need it either! I was at the doctors office once and there was a newborn with a tank. It made me look at my son and be thankful that the only problems we've had were weight gain! Eli is not dealing with that now! He's a chunky monkey now! I love it though. What a blessing to have health.

Traveling Days
Now that I have three precious children, traveling by plane is usually not the ideal way to go! I remember back in the day when flying was always the best way! I never wanted to drive anywhere! I'd always check flights first to see if that was an option. I loved packing my matching suitcases up and my custom luggage tags placed on them and I'd head to the airport like I was something. Then once September 11 happened, flying was no longer easy. Then after having kids- flying was really not easy! It is such a pain to travel with car seats and all a crying baby! No one enjoys sitting with someone who has a small child. You get the look, you know the one. Anyway- when was your first flight? I was 14 the first time I flew- and it was when I went to Jamaica on a missions trip with my youth group! I was so scared to fly! My babies all flew at an early age (except Eli, he's yet to board a plane- unless you count in my womb!) I don't know that they will remember it or not, but they did fly and I have pictures to prove it!

Photography Blessing
I had the wonderful opportunity to take pictures for a girl on Wednesday. I thought it would just be her and her mother and possibly her daughter. I had no clue it would be the entire family! It was fun to do. Here are some of my favorites. We took 130 pictures, but only about 50 turned out like I wanted them. It’s good to have people to practice with. I still need to learn how to use Adobe- I wonder how many more months I will say that! LOL. Either way- here are some of the photos. It was HOT and sunny and they were hungry- but it was still good. We could have gone around 7:40 but we would have had to work fast. I am learning. Of course once I move the time will change and the best time for photos will change too!

Moving
We are moving to an area of the country where people have had to deal with Mesothelioma. I've not ever been exposed (that I know of!) but I'm sure that once we get moved into the new house we will hear stories of it! We will be living in one of the areas hit the hardest by hurricane Katrina. We lived in Texas at the time, but my husbands family lived on the coast! They lived north of I-10, so they didn't have water damage, but the trees really messed up a lot of their personal property!
All the time...
I'm always feeling the pressure to be someone I'm not. I want to fit in and be like everyone, yet in my heart of hearts, I don't mind being ONE OF A KIND! There is so much pressure to be a certain size, but over the past few weeks, I've seen that so many people- of all sizes still have body image issues! It doesn't matter how skinny or fat they are, they still have negative comments to say about their bodies. Maybe that is a natural thing for women! So if you are on Lipovox or any other kind of pill, if you aren't happy with who you are inside, then you will still be unhappy even if you lose the 5,10, 50 or 100 pounds!
Seagull?
I just got back from an amazing vacation at the outer banks! When I first found Seagull lighting online, I was thinking of all the homes on the OBX that are for rent and how they must have seagull lighting- lol thinking it was some kind of light that looks like a bird, or maybe something that wards off birds! But to my surprise, it's not either! It is a company that has beautiful indoor lighting. They have amazing chandeliers and lights of many kinds! Speaking of seagulls, I bought my dad a funny gift from the OBX. I have yet to give it to him. It's seagull poop, but it's really candy. He was the first person I thought of!
The gift of Gab?
Today I was told by a sweet lady that I have the gift of gab! I never realized my gab could be my gift! I usually feel like I talk entirely to much! So for someone to tell me that I have a gift within it mad me smile from ear to ear! This lady sells insurance, but she was not selling insurance to me, we already have our insurance. Although I could have asked her to share her opinion with me on disability insurance. I've been offered it several times when we've reviewed our insurance, but I've always said no. I know several people on disability, so the older I get the more real it is to me. I didn't know anyone on it when we first signed up for insurance back in 2000. Things have changed since then! Do you have disability insurance on your policy?
Paper trail
I have receipts everywhere! We've recycled tons of them. I just don't know what to do with them. I wish that at the grocery stores and other places they gave you an option to receive a receipt. It would be nice if receipt printer would ask first instead of just spitting out long useless receipts! I love that when you pump gas you don't have to take one if you don't need it. What a way to save a tree! I hardly ever need a receipt for things. And if I do need one- it gets mixed in with the things I don't need to keep! How do you manage your receipts and the paper trial madness that comes with being an adult?
